Interested in flash fiction but not sure how to start? Then join writer Alex McCall as he coaches you through picking a topic, working out how to structure the story and then writing it!

For last year’s Book Week Scotland the writer Alex McCall worked with the University of Aberdeen to create an animated version of himself to give you some tips on how to write Flash Fiction.

This year they are delighted to have REAL LIFE Alex with them for this online workshop.

It’s open to participants aged 16+

If you’ve never written anything before but would like to find out a bit more about micro-fiction and how to get started, go along!

If you’ve already written some short fiction and want to join us to share ideas or ask some questions, go along!

There’ll be an opportunity to work with others on the fiction if you want to and then everyone will get together at the end to discuss what they’ve learned.

Questions welcome!

Free, and open to everyone 16+
