Join writer and performance storyteller Mara Menzies in a full-day workshop exploring the weaving of thoughts, ideas and memories into narrative. Drawing from her dual Kenyan/Scottish heritage, she explores how she takes inspiration from personal history, global events and the world around her to craft stories that speak to wider themes. With a fusion of storytelling performance, solo and group practical exercises, the day will conclude with a creative writing exercise led by author Sonali Misra.
