Visit the Hunterian Art Gallery for an exclusive screening from The National Library of Scotland’s Moving Image Archive, and for an opportunity to see Elizabeth Price’s exhibition UNDERFOOT after hours.
UNDERFOOT features a new moving image work from the Turner prize-winning artist and a bespoke textile piece, both inspired by the textile heritage of Glasgow’s industrial age, in particular carpet manufacturers Stoddard International Plc and James Templeton & Co. Ltd. The Moving Image Archive will be sharing a selection of historic films about Glasgow’s Templeton Carpet Factory, highlighting Glasgow’s social, cultural and industrial history.
